This section contains information on the volumes and changes in reserves, production and consumption of natural gas, both in general and in regions of the world. Provides information on the dynamics of world trade in pipeline and liquefied natural gas. Particular attention is paid to the state of shale gas production in various countries of the world, to the analysis of advanced production technologies, current problems and opportunities for their resolution are considered. It also provides an analysis of the situation on the markets of gas exporters and importers and their interaction with Russia. In particular, the relations of Russia and Ukraine on gas issues in the context of the ongoing political crisis in Ukraine were considered. Special attention is paid to the projects currently underway for the construction of transnational gas pipelines, the impact of these projects on the volumes and directions of export supplies of Russian gas.
The section “Russian Gas Market” is devoted to a detailed analysis of the current position of Russia in the global gas market as one of the leaders in gas production and export supplies. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of currently implemented programs for the development of new fields and existing projects for the construction of LNG plants in the country. Information on the construction of new pipelines is also provided, and possible directions for diversifying Russian natural gas sales markets and supply volumes are considered.
